Family Photos

Jack is 3 days old today. Dad arranged for our company photographer and good friend Lee to come over and take some photos in our sunroom. Jack was rockstar - stayed awake and relatively happy for 2 hours of photos etc. He was exhausted afterwards.
How we are so lucky and blessed, I cannot even explain.

We cannot wait to see them all, but Lee already sent us a great one of our family. I am wearing a few very special pieces of jewelry here - no, I am not walking around the house like this right now! The pearl necklace is a gift from John on the Birth of our Son - 7 Tahitian pearls for the 7 years we have been together, given to me the day our son was born. The bracelet is a gift from my mom and has JLT and a pearl (his birthstone) on it.

Love's Birth Day

John Love Toler III arrived at 5:27pm on Sunday, June 21st. Father's Day. Happy and Healthy - Thank you God.

This is the most amazing thing -impossible to describe let alone write about on a blog. If you are a parent, you know what I mean! Happy and Helathy.

Baby Update - He is Happy Where He Is

I saw the Doc today. Seems John Love is perfectly content and not making any real movement towards coming soon - likely another week or so. Thanks to everyone sending notes of encouragement - we cannot wait to see him!

Love's Room

Some of you have heard the saga - took 17 weeks for the furniture I ordered to arrive! Well, all came last week and John, Poppy and I put the whole room together over the weekend. Hoping this will convince John Love to come soon. Still some wall art to hang, etc, but baby ready!

Here are a few photos:
Shadow Box with JLTI's dog tags and ID bracelet, and JLTII's photo

Date Night

John and I decided to try a new restaurant over the weekend - one we were sure we would not take a small child to. We had a great time, and Poppy took this photo of us before we left.

What is hysterical is people stare at large pregnant ladies, or at least me, usually with a look of fear as in "I hope you do not go into labor right in front of me!"
