It is so funny how each of these firsts seems so cool. Because they are! We took Jack apple picking this month - both a first for me and Jack. John was apro from his summer job in high school at a Wisconsin orchard, so he quickly showed Jack the ropes. When Jack pulled off the first apple he said "Whoa." This is one of his favorite new words and is hysterical when he says it!
Walking on a mountain side is a bit difficult for a toddler so there was a lot of carrying. On our way out John bit into one apple and then let Jack hold it. Jack chewed on it for an hour and loved it!
